Making A Difference
- Eliminated weekly fees for After School care making it more affordable for all families.
- We have increased our Average Daily Attendance (ADA) by 150% since Summer 2023!
- Now serving 15+ kids from Scott County, VA by providing transporation to our club from Weber City Elementary.
- Providing practice and tournament space for a local basketball league bringing in additional kids to our building.
- Created new workforce development program for teens to explore different careers with grant from Truist and Transfr VR headset.
Can I donate services?

Absolutely! That is one of the most important donations that you can give a non-profit.

Is there a tax deduction for donations?

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport is a 501 (c)3 and will provide a letter for tax purposes.

*Donor will provide the "value" of any items given.

How can I volunteer?
Potential volunteers need to fill out an application, complete a background check, attend orientation and will work directly with a professional staff member.
- Many volunteer oprotunities are available: Work with members in various program areas (Health & Lifeskills, The Arts, Sports-Fitness & Recreation, Education & Career Development, and Character & Leadership Development).
- Serve on the Board of Directors (Full boaard or assist on a committee/Task Force).
- Assist with a special events.
- Teach a hobby.
- Provide expertise to the organization.
Where do you volunteer?

Volunteers are needed at all 4 Club Sites:

Eastman Club (off Stone Dr)
Reedy Pointe Club (Old Cloud Apartments)
Riverview Club {Teen Center} (V O Dobbins)
Opportunities for groups to volunteer?

There are several projects (most can be competed within one day) that volunteers in groups can complete. Please cotact us if intereted in specific projects.
